Kick off

The second leg of the Champions League quarter-final is underway

Great Benzema

Jorge Valdano to Movistar: Benzema was a great player, who in his recent years has learned to score goals with an absolutely higher frequency than in his previous years. Ancelotti now speaks of Benzema as an indomitable spirit, something that was unimaginable five years ago.

The first goal is key

Joe Cole on BT Sport: Tuchel changed things at half-time last Wednesday, and, if you take away the mistake, were well in the game in the second half – they created chances. There’s a lot to be positive about. The first goal is crucial. From Chelsea’s perspective, the first goal doesn’t need to come in the first half. If they come in level at half-time, it’s still on. It’s the Champions League and we’ve seen games get clawed back from worse than this.

There is one defensive change for Carlo Ancelotti’s men with Eder Militao being replaced by Nacho. Karim Benzema leads the line once again.
