In Shama, a man kills two children

Man Kills 2 Children In Shama

Benjamin Eshun, a Shama Junction resident in the Western Region, is accused of murdering his two children.

After a quarrel with his wife, Comfort Arthur, who threatened to jilt him, the suspect allegedly poisoned the children.

According to sources, after reportedly poisoning his two children, an eight-year-old boy and a five-year-old girl, the father attempted suicide by ingesting part of the claimed poisonous material, but he did not die.

As a result, many in the region were taken aback when the tragic news broke this morning.

Despite the fact that they have two children together, Benjamin Eshun was upset when Comfort Arthur told him she was no longer interested in the relationship for reasons unknown to her.

Benjamin reportedly told the wife that if she was no longer interested in the relationship, she would lose custody of the children, according to DAILY GUIDE.

As a result, the wife suspected that the man’s statements would harm the children, and she contacted some relatives, who then reported the incident to the Shama Police Station.

On Monday evening, the police took them to Benjamin Eshun’s house, but when they arrived, they discovered the door had been closed.

They pried it open and saw the two children’s lips foaming. They were brought to the hospital, but they died the next day.

The father, who was suspected of ingesting part of the dangerous chemical, was discovered unresponsive in a supine position and transferred to the hospital, where he is being treated under police supervision.

In an interview with media, Comfort Arthur, the couple’s wife, verified the account.
